Raising Funds to Help Children with Cancer
Today we went out and pre ran the course for this years Cody's Ride. The route is approximately 36 miles long and it's a different route than last year. There will be sand, rocks, small hills, single track and fire road. There is even one section with nothing but green vegetation to roll across, no trail. And if the rain lets up, hopefully the water and mud will be gone by ride day.
As always, the course is not too difficult, but please keep an eye on beginners and the little folks that are not that experienced. Also, we were told that if it warms up by ride day, we all need to keep an extra close watch out for snakes. Once the weather turns warm, the snakes will be out and about.
I would like to Thank our Cal City Folks for setting up the course for us this year. They spent several days driving around looking for a course that is safe and fun as well as challenging.
Our Thanks to Janet Burgess, Big Steve, Cliff, Kevin, Rick, Marie Zimmerlin-Garrett and my "Ride Boss" Scott Garrett! We wouldn't be able to put this event on with all of you.
Take Care and we will see you soon.

We have another update about Cody's 2017, Ride, which is just two short weeks away!!
Our Cal City Crew went out today to scout the route for the Advanced Ride, which is for the more experienced riders. The route will end up being about 60-70 miles long and there will be a gas stop in Randsburg. If you want to participate in this ride email me at email@example.com or let Scott Garrett know, when you register at the event. The advanced riders usually leave about 8:30 AM on Saturday and are back in time for lunch and the raffle.
Also, we have had several folks that are participating in the ride obtain donations or donate items themselves to use as raffle prizes. Thank you very much to those folks! If you have any items for the raffle, please email us a description and/or picture, if possible, so we can make up a flyer.
Take Care, and looking forward to seeing you in two weeks.
